Encinitas, and the surrounding local areas are full of these little secret alley ways. I think it adds to the over all charm of the area and helps to distinguish Encinitas from cookie cutter suburban communities.

I have actually started an awesome little succulent garden since I moved to Encinitas. This isn't one of mine, but I will certainly keep my eyes open for one while I am out on adventure, it is really fantastic!

Encinitas has some amazing architecture.

One of the benefits of living in such a unique local community is the beauty in what people create. I believe that is is a natural reaction to the awe and pride people feel in the natural surroundings that result in Encinitas and the surrounding areas architecture.

Paradise pizza in Carlsbad does a pretty darn good gluten free pizza.

I am on a walk through the lumberyard. The restaurants are hopping, all except for the outdoor seating!

Can you identify the UFOs?

One of my favorite sights in Encinitas, and all of the surrounding areas are the hot air balloons.
Although, if you identify them I guess they aren't ufos anymore.
Does anyone know where I can find info on taking a local balloon trip?

A little chilly for a bonfire in Encinitas?

This is a picture from moonlight beach taken about a week and a half ago.

I am really in the mood for a bonfire again, I will probably take a trip out to Encinitas' moonlight beach tonight and see if there are some warm fires going.

I made the right decision.

I recently moved to Encinitas from a snow filled NYC, and I am glad that I did. Thanks for making this such a great community.
