Encinitas, and the surrounding local areas are full of these little secret alley ways. I think it adds to the over all charm of the area and helps to distinguish Encinitas from cookie cutter suburban communities.

You know the one, its right on 101 and yet impossible to get to, they have some decent stuff. Open on Sunday too.

This guy was taking his cat out on a leashed walk to stalk pigeons just above moonlight beach in Encinitas.

Awesome! I bet he is from Leucadia.

There are little gardens everywhere you go in Encinitas.

We drove up to Carlsbad today chasing deals, it was worth it just for the weather!

Awesome Encinitas Succulent

I have actually started an awesome little succulent garden since I moved to Encinitas. This isn't one of mine, but I will certainly keep my eyes open for one while I am out on adventure, it is really fantastic!

New Shopping center in Encinitas.

This local shopping center in the downtown 101 Encinitas corridor was recently completed. Its neat to look back and see it under way.

Encinitas has some amazing architecture.

One of the benefits of living in such a unique local community is the beauty in what people create. I believe that is is a natural reaction to the awe and pride people feel in the natural surroundings that result in Encinitas and the surrounding areas architecture.
